Three easy DIY face masks for glowing skin
We probably all know this feeling: after a few glasses of red wine the evening before or a stressful week, we notice that our eyes seem a little tired and maybe one or the other impurity becomes noticeable. We notice: it's time again for a home spa and relaxation session at home. And then we notice that our perfect detox mask is currently empty ...
But don't panic, because we have some great recipes for you that you can easily copy. Feel free to try one or the other and write us how you liked it.
Here are our personal favorites:
1. Anti-aging & perfect glow
All you need is
- a ¼ avocado,
- 1-2 spoons of Greek yogurt
- and a little honey (1 teaspoon)
- Cucumber slices for the eyes
Avocados are rich in vitamins A, D and E, which help supply the skin with the necessary nutrients and moisture and also lighten possible spots. Greek yogurt is rich in vitamin D and zinc, which help soothe the skin. Last but not least, we have honey, which is rich in antioxidants, which also soothe the skin and provide it with minerals. Now just put two slices of cucumber on your eyes and relax.
2. Miracle mask against oily skin and small blemishes
All you need are
- 3 teaspoons of oatmeal,
- a squeeze of lemon
- one teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of white vinegar,
- Milk or water to dilute.
This mask works wonders against oily skin. Oatmeal has an incredibly soothing effect on the skin, making it smooth and matt. In addition, the skin is pampered with all kinds of minerals. Another special feature is the light scrub that the oat flakes give your skin so that dead skin cells can be easily removed.
3. Anti-inflammatory mask
You need
- One teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tsp (oat) milk
It's no secret that turmeric is arguably one of the healthiest spices in the world. It has anti-inflammatory agents, kills bacteria, and can lighten and even tone our skin.
